you pay aussie taxes to live and work in australia. you dont owe the people selling these cards shit. they just take the money and buy investment properies to screw you over there as well. so dont give them anything for charity just because you love Australia.

Well you guys are paying the stupid price gouging prices... $1800 for a 3080 isn't retail, it's a $500 - $600 price gouge by the shops. Has nothing to do with tax or currency conversion.

So really when they market cards as a "Titan" it's all just marketing because the baseline changes anyways. Is that the summary? I couldn't do the whole video, sorry.

TLDW: 3090 isn't a Titan at all, it's not marketed as a Titan, it has no features like a Titan, it doesn't have the performance of a Titan, it doesn't even have the Titan drivers. It's. Not. A. Titan.

Any yet, everyone is calling it a Titan .

It's also $1,000 USD cheaper than the last Titan :Paranoid:

Trading blows with a 2080ti with presumably better RT/DLSS performance for $8-900 seems like good value. As others have said though if those cards start nipping on the heels of entry level 3080s like the xc3 then it stops making sense.

Yeah that $809 figure I Googled might be a long shot. I do expect high end models to be price similarly to the lower end RTX 3080s though.

Well straight from the video NVidia marketed it as "Titan class performance" which is probably where people are getting it from.
