Redbank has been garbage lately. It takes forever to move things from there to anywhere. I had stuff coming from Brisbane to me (about a two hour drive in a car) and it took almost a week at Redbank alone.

Auspost Melbourne depots are even worse unfortunately. I have packages sent express that have been scanned 7 or 8 times over the month they are overdue, and creating a case to investigate got me a generic reply for some overwork SOB who just stated my package was lost - even though it had been scanned yesterday.

spewing about this public holiday in Victoria today... would of had my new card today :/

    https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-3dmark-performance-leaked

13945 gpu score in timespy for the 3070

my strix 2080ti OC overclocked does 16850 with my 3600 ryzen for reference for anyone looking at the 3070.

my card stock pulls over 15k in timespy.

so nvidia's claims are debatable depending which 3070 you get vs which 2080ti your comparing it to. i'd say a top spec 2080ti would be better than most 3070's as the aib parnters will build them cheap to make profit at the lower price point. food for thought if you're on the 3070 hype train, not to mention you'll be capping out @8gb vram quicker than 11gb...

so for anyone who got a decent 2080ti for $800 kudos to you.

I should be more excited about my incoming "afforable" RTX 2080 Ti... But I was really hoping I would have gotten my RTX 3080 by now. Still, a massive improvement over my poor old GTX 980

as i thought i think after reviews comes out the discussion will be like the 1080ti to the 2070super/2080

A do you get an el' cheapo 3070 (galax/palit/inno3d/msi ventus) VS a top end 2080ti strix/aorus/trio X and even gigabyte gaming oc... for similar price 8gb vs 11gb
if my guesses are right ampere has fk all oc headroom and the good 2080ti's have 300+ watt PL not to mention better vrm phases, fans, quietness and overall build quality, also if you got a recently purchased one, would have loads of warranty left.

Auspost is that final hidden boss you have to beat. You beat the no eta and scalper boss and think you're done but oh no, a new boss sound track starts and you're in for one last fight :D

Yeah but the problem with this game is that it is like the old Alex Kid in Miracle World on the Sega Master System II. As long as you know the right sequence for the bosses' rock/paper/scissors games then you are good but if you get one wrong then they become random and you are screwed. In this case you have to guess which watch the AusPost boss will fight you with.

Ripped. Did you know what he had?
According to the videocardz review posted up there, the 3070 is being tested at stock TDP - 220w. Assuming AIBs build PCBs with the current cability, the 3070 could well be the overclocking monster Celeron 300a.
For those that don't play much 3DMark, the case may be far more compelling. When does the review embargo lift?

Sometimes it even says "DELIVERED", yet nothing has been received.

That's when the real final boss fight begins.

Are we talking about the same timespy scores?

    The RTX 3080 scores 15k.
