fair point sir. all benchmark reviewers will compare what ever 3070 to the reference 2080ti which scores around the mid-high 13k mark in timespy, all im pointing out if you can grab a top end 2080ti strix/aorus/gaming trio X/Z for sub $1000 i think it a good deal.
    3070 has 46 SM unit vs the 2080ti/3080 68SM.

and lets be honest here, the top tier 3070's like strix/aorus/gaming trio X will be $1200+ you'll see...

15k is overall score including the cpu test.
if you scroll down to the next chart in the link you posted, you'll see the 3080 vulcan scores 18164 point gpu score only.
if you look at the videocardz leak i shared, you will see overall and gpu score. :)

God damnit, that whole Evatech debacle has been a serious let down, I even pre-paired my computer for it changing cables around and added another cable in so it was ready to go...

    14048 is the overall
just below that 13945 is the gpu score, (without cpu)
as cpu affects the overall score alot.

anyways all im saying is a top tier 2080ti for $1000 or less is better than a vanilla 3070 in my eyes.

Well shit, RTX 2080 Ti onboard for delivery today. That should keep me from being too depressed with the whole RTX 3080 shitshow.

It's a cruel world when that guy can get multiple units just to sell at $400+ over retail price while people with standing orders get shafted.

2018's old and busted pulling through

The sad part is that we (not me or you... but 'we') enable them to do it by being so afraid of missing out on an extra 10fps that we're willing to buy second hand for above new prices from someone who is clearly in it to profiteer

I think that guy is in Capitol Square in Sydney near Chinatown. They are almost all scalper. They selling TUF 3090 for around same price as that as well.

2199 is crazy price for 3080 no matter what the card is!!!

Well yes you are correct but the key element there is no one can actually "get" them. Compared to paying 2k + for a gigabyte or MSI like some people are I thought it actually wasnt that bad.

    Each to their own though.
