Bunch of funny bastards
Delayed – waiting to be processed for delivery
Wtf does this mean lol
It's in a big pile out the back we will get to around March.
so far "best delivery experience" I had was with AusPost, 2 weeks to get "express" delivery from Melbourne to Sydney. it went from main sorting facility across whole Sydney to a sorting facility located 5 min drive from my office. It was sitting 3 days with "onboard with driver for delivery" then it was transferred back to the main sorting facility with no explanation. Called them, lady on phone said they had "wrong delivery address stated in the system" when I asked to tell me what the address is, it was the correct address......
Ask me how I know :
(not a 3080 luckily but the only post that actually goes anywhere at the moment is express post)
Your courier is enjoying additional in-home heating and slightly more realistic shadows.
So you staying home today? Might come for a bike ride
Lol, working from home still. May only do half a day and take leave for the other half
Thats fantastic news...Enjoy
Still showing In Stock an hour later... not too many people wanting to drop 2.9k shipped for a dual 8pin 3090 a few days before big navi reveal eh?
Sure some people would have been keen if this had been a three 8pin 3090 as you might have guessed.
I like the fact that the RTX3090 has 24gb video ram, but apart from that i am under impressed by this card so far, maybe i need to wait for a game that will show its true capabilities.
The cards run very quiet even when benching (Full tower pc as per sig) & yet i am already suffering buyers remorse.
most people just don't want to buy zotac/galax? Hence why the pre-order queue for those cards are mostly cleared.
I got a Strix 3090 on order not even tempted by this. The only card I'd be tempted to get other than my one is an ftw3 ultra.
For now, before CP2022 get Control that would demonstrate it pretty well.
You're problem isn't buying too much, rather not enough. Need to get 2 more x34's and run ultraultraultrawide
I guess the thing is that if you use 3090 for gaming, you have 2 things extra 14GB RAM and 10% performance gain.
24GB RAM - According to the media out there "10GB is more than enough for any games" - let see what will happen next year with this statement.
So all you are left with is the roughly 10% performance gain over 3080. Put that into perspective in 4K gaming, improvement is so small that playing demanding game on 3080 and getting 40-70FPS, those extra 4-7 FPS wont make any impact on the gaming experience, if you drop to 1440p you will most likely get over 100 FPS and again extra 10-15 FPS is going to make no to very minimal impact on the gaming experience.
I get that people who buy these are Enthusiasts that want best of best, smashing benchmarks records or money is not an objection so they don't really care, However for majority (even for some enthusiasts), justifying $1500-$2000 upgrade to get extra few frames is not worth the $$$$ purely from gaming perspective.
