    Wait the 3070 cost's the same as 3080? Because i paid 1200 for a 3080.
    Fucking crooks.

On another note, PCCG now has my order as Cancelled, but got no email confirmation or money refund, maybe my $1,200 has gone poof and now i also won't be getting a 3080. Worst damn company.
Hopefully refund arrive by tomorrow so i can order 6900XT ;). Or i can just use other money but that isn't good for OCD.

Working as intended for the rip-off early adopter tax prices. RTX 3080 $699usd = $1400 AUD, RTX 3070 $499 USD = $1000 AUD. Retailers are laughing all the way to banks.

Ring them up asap and if they won't play nice, just claim a charge back with your bank. Unless you paid cash for it :Paranoid:

I was just on the phone with the district manager for a national PC Parts supplier and he told me he doesn't have a 3080 yet. Yeah that tracks lol

3080s range from 1140 to 1600+ so I guess it's no real surprise there is some overlap there. The colorful cards weren't the cheapest option for 3080s either. I would definitely sit in an xc3 queue before paying the same price for ~20-30% less performance though. I am sure there will be plenty of people swept up in fomo who buy anything in stock with a new shiny name for cyberpunk but hopefully amd can be their saviour.

A card for sneaker heads. Let's pay $1000 more for white plastic!

    No you wouldn't.

call me crazy as each day passes while I wait for my Strix 3090 card to materialise I get more and more tempted to get a zotac or galax or gigabyte oc 3090 that I can snipe temporarily... just gonna be shit to resell it a month or two later... This is testing my resolve...

PayPal saved my arse about two months ago, so I can vouch for it. Gave me my money back and I got to keep the item because the seller refused to refund and the return :Paranoid:

Well, it's only been (almost) 40 days since launch .... what kind of a launch would it be if there was stock by now?

Seems that the GA3090 in FS section may be the first to sell under retail.. hehe Considering stock is appearing

its been at least 24hrs for the GA's at scorp and going onto 48hrs for zotac's

So have any stores really said much about what they're doing with the 3070 launch - what time the cards will be available, when they'll have details on brands/products/pricing, and what their process will be for ordering?

11 PM Thursday according to PLE.

I know Scorp with have about 130 3070 Twin Edge cards (50 standard and 80 oc) which is a more niche card and will see lower demand than ASUS/Gigabyte/MSI cards so they may have better stock of those - although they are a major Zotac distributor so it makes sense that they'd have more stock of those.

Tried for a while, but i am going to hedge my bets with AMD, besides for 4K gaming i think 16GB VRAM is a better idea.
I did want a 3080 but they have stuffed me around too long.

I suspect that's more an outcome of people not wanting to throw down $3k for a 3090 shortly before the AMD launch though - more so than lots of stock. Or maybe the pool of people who are happy to pay 2x for 1.1x the performance of a 3080 has dried up.

3080's are still like hen's teeth.
