in case you're interested, I still cannot see a setting for this even after updating BIOS. Did you have any further info on it?

I don't think Intel was happy about people basically overclocking non-K cpus so later versions of bios will probably have it removed. Asrock might call it Multi Core Enhancement or something? Never used it myself as I have an 8700k.

hey mate can guarantee its a cpu bottleneck you have, especially at 1080p as warzone seems to need a pretty decent cpu (i gained 30-40 odd average fps upgrading from a 7700k to a 10900k on a 1080ti). you can run msi afterburner and put on riva stats during game and you'll notice your gpu usage bouncing around while your cpu is pegged at close to 100%. before you go out and get a new cpu though, make sure to run ddu and clean out your drivers then reinstall. you might get a bit of a performance boost just doing that first.

You should definitely be using it with an 8700k.

I found the setting 'Multi Core Enhancement' in my motherboard manual, looks like it doesn't appear if you don't have an overclockable CPU. That explains why I can't find the setting!

Don't buy from the massively inflated retailers, and they will soon drop the price when their stock sits there. I saw it happen a few times on some near $2K 3080's.

More stock at scorp, Galaxy and Ventus showed up.

seems that RTX3090 is becoming more available, perhaps with the pallets of RTX3070's prepping for this week :Pirate:

Can’t imagine the mess the 3070 is going be given what we’ve experienced with the 3080. I’d imagine being slightly more budget friendly there may be more demand and much more of a shit show. However with release of amd very close to and speculation that amd may come in under cutting it may make a dint in those sales

"budget friendly" lol, since when was $1000+ budget friendly!

ah the glory days where a $500-600 card was the top top range.

lol yeah slightly but comparing 3070,3080 and 3090, I haven’t really been into pc’s before the 2000 series so I spent $2500 on a strix 2080ti :Paranoid:

yeah i picked up a 2080Ti earlier this year, not a regretable purchase given performance increase over a 1080Ti @ 1440p 120hz, but regrettable given its value has halved, but thats tech, that happens!

but 2.5k 2080ti, ouch, but if you have had it 12+ months its not a terrible purchase, if you bought it this year then more ouch

Just waitinf for my block to arrive for my colorful 3080 so i can replace the 2080 Ti!

yeah pretty much not long after release I got it, still not disappointed with how well it did. And overclocked really well but same as you can’t imagine what it would sell for now
