I’m looking at order a MSI 3090 suprim X. Anyone care to comment on maximum power delivery, vrm and cooling in comparison to the strix 3090 OC?

I saw in his comment he has swapped the best memory chips from other 3090 onto his good one. Seems he's right into it.. does NA for temperature just mean he's sub zero? .. or is he scorpion

The Inno3d is supposed to be a decent card, just not much room for overclocking. I like the look of it also, but that's personal taste

Try blobs of blu-tak or similar too. The weight can change the harmonic frequency massively and move the frequency of the noise to something less noticeable. Put bits here there and everywhere and if you notice a difference in one area, try bigger and smaller blobs. Hot melt glue can do wonders for permanent fixes. Never looks pretty however.

Dont think theres much OC room on any 3080s TBH. Even on "good overclocking cards" u can eek out maybe 10%.... the power draw seems to be the biggest issue.

    How much was it?

Seems the Inno3D 3070 is still available for preorder at $869...I'd be happy to pay that if I had any idea of when stock was coming (no point letting umart sit on my money for the next 4 months and then miss out on another deal if/when it comes through): https://www.umart.com.au/Inno3D-GeForce-RTX-3070-Twin-X2-OC-8G-Graphics-Card_57252G.html

    $1449

I'm keeping my EVGA FTW3 pre-order for now...... since it only cost me $1 to be in queue.

In case you're not aware, that's the 2 fan model. Inno3d also do a 3 fan (x3) and 4 fan (x4) model for both the 3070 and 3080s. I am not sure how much difference in cooling there is, but something to be aware of. Cheers

Really would be better off with the cheapest EVGA model from PLE ($889 with OCAU discount) but the same problem applies - when on earth will they get stock again??

It’s 800w, should be fine. It is 8 years old though... was way overkill when I bought it for my 680 and 3700 i7 build back then.

Wattage doesn't really matter it depends if it can handle the cards abnormal behaviour.
