Well tbh it's very hard to see the lips even in good lighting because of the black on black finish on the shroud except for the chrome finish.

1,985 MHz is your core it will never hold a static clock, I can push mine to +230 but it dips.

Keeping the protective film on until I can finally squeeze it in my hacksawed case.

Its a simple change but its a nice one, much more neautral for people that care about what they're looking at, so most people, its hard to get a case without a window.

Gave up on the 6900XT, based on 6000 pricing and availability I dont see getting that card anytime soon, plus it would need to be either much faster or cheaper to overcome the CUDA/Optix benefit in Blender and Adobe.

I got the Galax 3090, seems really nice, super quite and not to flashy. Anyone had any issues with Galax?

3060Ti....not bad if shopping at that $750 AUD price point!! Comes close to a 2080Ti and 3070. Pricing is critical though.

It's joined to the whole fan shroud, so hard to replace without EVGA sending out a whole new fan shroud assembly.

And that probably sucks even more now, going at the back of the queue, unless Umart show him some love and bump him up in the queue of give him priority in a pick for a 3080.

I would be amazed if there are any 3060Tis for $750AUD though. they'll be botted and scalped like everything else.

Still haven't had an update from Scorptec about my Zotac 3070...starting to think they oversold their Cyber Monday special and I'm going to miss out...feeling pretty neutral about it if so; I'll just give up and re-join the race next year.

My roller coaster 3080 journey is finally over, I had to overpay to end it but fuck it, prefer to just get the card I really want and be done with it until the 5000 series in a few years.

Like most I missed out on the launch night stock, got in on a shitty overpriced Gigabyte Eagle off Commuter Alliance at like $1650 or something regarded and not long after cancelled that horrible deal haha

A couple weeks later I placed a pre order on a nicely priced AORUS 3080 Master from PBTECH in NZ for $1580 delivered with an initial promised delivery date of October but that kept getting blown out and out and out to the point I thought I’m better off cancelling and waiting to see what the Big Navi release has. I was kind of hoping they’d force Nvidia to cut pricing or something but I think with the demand that won’t be happening.

I mainly play iRacing and that heavily favours Nvidia so I decided I definitely want a 3080but there’s clearly no stock anywhere. I kept seeing the occasional OCAUer getting super lucky and grabbing one off a site when they very briefly come in stock. Checked all the major sites several times a day for a few days and eventually saw that my PBTECH had a couple of AORUS Xtreme’s albeit for a slightly higher price than here in AUS but it’s the card I really wanted out of all the 3080’s and it’s my birthday this weekend so why not.

I can finally stop stressing and looking for a card and just enjoy it!

From what local pricing there is on the 3060Ti..etc. They are asking around $900. Some a bit more, over $1000 some a bit less.
    It doesn't make any sense.
    https://www.techbuy.com.au/p/484848/VIDEOCARDS_PCIEX_30XX_SERIES/ASUS/DUAL-RTX3060TI-O8G.asp
    $883
    https://www.techbuy.com.au/p/484845..._SERIES/Gigabyte/GV-N306TGAMINGOC_PRO-8GD.asp
    $940.50

    Should be $550-$600

    Bonkers.

Performance is quite good, basically 3070. Which is confusing. Why so close to 3070 performance? Literally only 1-5 FPS behind at most games and resolutions. Ideal as a 1440p card.

I expect the 3050ti to be on the market soon. With 8GB ram, and cost $900. This will be followed by the 16Gb 6700xt, which will cost $900. These will be your entry level cards.

    3060ti - $900
    3070 - $950
    3080 $1100
    6800 -$950
    6800xt -$1050.

well looks like nvidia is not getting rid of the "Ti" and definitely not simplifying anything now that 3060Ti confirmed, time for 3080Ti in May ? :)
