Australia's RRP (recommended reamers price). By the time everyone has has their dip into the pie it will come out at $1800 minimum you can almost be guaranteed.

For reference the $999 USD 6900XT was listed at $1699 AUD at most retailers. However this was a limited quantity of price locked reference cards.

The 3080Ti Founders Edition wont be available here (duh) so you can presume $1699 is unobtainium. AIB cards the only option which we know carry an extra 20% at least....... so I would expect $1800 minimum for 3080Ti AIB cards..... but more like $1900+.

Pretty much exactly that. Nobody here paid $1067 for a 3080. Most paid more than $1300.

So as a ratio of RRP = (999/699) * $1300 = $1857, hence my estimate the 3080ti's will start out around $1800 here down under. ROG/Aorus cards likely $2k+.

3080ti set to have same MSRP (999$) as 2080ti, not sure about you guys, but I dropped $2200 for gaming x back in the day, while evgas were over $2400.

Sure, but makes no sense when you can get (with patience) 3080s for <$1300 Aus. 90-95% of the performance for $500-800 less (speculative). That’s enough for an entire water cooling fit (with rad and pump) or a CPU upgrade.

The Ti should be $800 USD, otherwise it makes no sense IMHO.

3090 is $1500 USD, 3080Ti for $999 USD makes perfect (nvidia) sense, 3090 performance for 500$ USD less, bargain :). nvidia done it again :D

Personally my desire to get a 3080Ti is mostly memory driven. Cyberpunk with raytracing almost almost caps out the 10GB on a 3080 from what I've read.

I don't feel like 10GB will last me 5 years...

    At 4k?

All ultra settings didn't max out the 8gb on 3070 at 1440p

For the power of the current cards the VRAM seems to match them pretty well. More VRAM on 40 series seems like a no-brainer though

you people gaming at 4K I hope they are big ass screens or your doing yourself a disservice by not playing at 1440 144hz.. twice the perf for far less then half the clarity (at 27" anyway)

    Bring on 3080ti strix :D

The 3080Ti looks like it could be my next video card. I kind of wanted an all AMD system but the NVidia GPUs do better for VR than AMD when it comes to synthetic frames vs dropped frames...... /sigh but Drivers FTW.

You're not cool unless you know the different naming conventions and what it all means. ;)
