Geez I paid the same for the EVGA RTX 3090 XC3 as the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 AORUS XTREME 10GB.
    Wow talk about profiteering..

I can't keep track of what is "normal" for these cards anymore... I hate that the goal posts are constantly moving.

No way in hell I'm going to pay anything remotely like those prices!

Seems like you'd be waiting at least a year for prices to get back to normal.

Retailers have never been out of stock of 3090s and for less than those prices. Have a look at Scorptec, PCCG or Umart. They always have some 3090s in stock.

Nice! I might just bite the bullet and finally get it on water, was leaning that way anyway to be honest, 30 series throw off some heat, same with zen3 and I like low noise levels.

I don't regret for one moment getting my 3080 under water. Way better temps and damned near silent; plus the EK block is sexy

Whats the point of getting them in stock if no one can afford to buy them?

I think people are still buying them, Miners in particular. OR feed up gamers whom are sick of waiting.... 3060ti/3070 are the best for efficiency, power usage, 2560x1440p resolution gaming as well as the 60MH/s rate for miners at 130watts, 3080 are 220w 98MH/s, 3090 are 285w 120MH/s.

I hope it is true that stocks hopefully normalize in the coming months now that Chinese New Year is over (Most Chinese people working away from home take a month off, travel back to be with family) and China/Taiwan (The worlds factories) has to get back to work.... Container ships ahoy!
