Pretty sure the empire got ripped off for those too. Only Vader had a decent one

the saving grace right now is that these aren't exactly flying off the shelves at these higher prices, if you want one for around 3k you can get them. Unlike the 3080 launch.

Not bad for those silly enough to want 4K on something smaller then 42" :p

Good specs though id still rather a premium VA panel as even with that many dimming zones will be some blooming, higher native contrast helps.. there is a good reason the only Tv's that compete with OLED's are all VA.

i dont know if thats a saving grace as much as it is an indicator of the price absurdity people are now unwilling to pay. but i suppose give it a few days and theyll be all gone regardless of the nasty pricing

I think most of us here are so jaded with these GPU launches that it becomes difficult to be excited. Oh well, I hope everyone had their fun and got the GPUs they wanted. Otherwise, good luck next time lol

It's been posted, eta mid next week.
But yeh nah I'm still not feeling it, usually I'd be so eager but I don't have the same feeling on this one. I think I just got sucked into the hype, there was also a lot of hidden costs in checkout I overlooked during the rush.

If somebody is interested in a 3070 and needs a system to go with it you could do a lot worse than this for $2100; BPCTech | 9900KF & 3070

The GPU it comes with is currently in stock at PCCG for $1899..

Did anyone manage to snap a mythical 3080Ti? Or were you like me:

Receives email - 3080Ti available now.
Clicks link - all sold out ....

Did each retailer get 2 of them or something?

    I think 3080 was underpriced. And 6800/6800xt.

There's quite a few around at the moment if you look, just a matter of if you're willing to fork out 3k+

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GAMING OC 12GB Graphics Card (GV-N308TGAMINGOC-12GD) | Centre Com : Best PC Hardware Prices!
MSI Geforce RTX 3080 Ti SUPRIM X 12G Graphics Card (RTX 3080 Ti SUPRIM X 12G) | Centre Com : Best PC Hardware Prices!

I reckon we'll see prices drop slowly in the next few months unless the hash rate limiter is bypassed

PC shop in Clayton. Think they do system builds but sell some components. They have a same day local delivery service lol where one of their staff delivers the goods to your place
