    Of course you did :)

The 'month' is literally in videocardz headline as per my OG post.

I believe Videocardz has an email or a comment section and you can point at the specific part in the article about where they hurt you :p

But you're the one claiming that it's gospel because they said so..
The Beast is saying its not because it hasn't even been announced yet... so it's still just speculation..

In which part of that am I claiming its 'gospel' as you so eloquently put it?

You two are obviously drinking from the same koolaid or waking up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, because If i'm going to state something as fact.

    I'll state something as fact.

I simply relayed some info from articles and news through the grapevine, no one forced you either of you to read it. You both can keep that negativity to yourselves and move on.

As I don't really give a sh*t to be quite honest.

    Gee I dunno?

Perhaps the part where you yelled it into the thread in bold underline.

    Just sayin. ;)

I genuinely thought I had missed a launch announcement.

lol everyone is thinking nvidia will release good price to performance cards are dreaming!

Nvidia is a business not a charity!

Amd and nvidia both have lots of remaining inventory of current gen!

From a business perspective they will do either:

    1. release 4xxx at a higher cost so that remaining 3xxx stock are “good value”, then once stock dies up they will drop or refresh 4xxx at a better “value”...

    2. do another paper launch 4xxx and limit stock until 3xxx inventory clears

There is no chance nvidia/amd will screw themselves over with cheap and fast 4xxx cards knowing it will hurt their remaining inventory!

No-one saying nVidia/AMD will screw themselves over; rather every previous gen of releases (barring Turing due to mining craze/covid) have had good price-performance cards.

Now that mining craze has somehwat settled, I think all people are saying is perhaps we can go back to a more decent, competitive price-performance release. Even if the cost of world has gone ↑.

I think its hard to discuss inventory unless you/someone has some firm numbers on what that is <-- please post if so!

At the end of the day- has to be profitable for nVidia/AMD. And these are depreciative assets with relatively short life cycles. You're not buying exclusivity like a rolex, or an investment aka house.

I want more competition don't get me wrong but nvidia clearly isn't interested in making low-midrange cards anymore they are stubborn with vram basically half the capacity of amd and nvidia think they can't raise the msrp every gen 10% it's a joke. Clearly the last month has proved gamers (not miners) are not interested in overpriced 500w-1kw mainframe cards cut down with leds on them

I am interested in whoever can deliver the fastest card at my selected resolution with a set of features that I find valuable. Currently that is nvidia, let's see what amd can do this generation to compete.

Also we already have threads for overall pricing/mining discussion. We should keep this for rumours/info/launch hype for the rtx 40 series.

If Intel or a Chinese spin off of amd/nvidia tech running at 4ghz and ran at 4x the speed of a 4090 for 1k I'd buy it tomorrow I'm like you all I don't really have brand loyalty either
