    Take all of that with a massive pinch of salt.

    Just think about it for a second, gen on gen increases have been somewhere in the 1.2x to 1.6x range for quite some time.
    The rumours some are floating around is suggesting Lovelace will be up to 2.4x performance , or 3x for RDNA3, for only 10% in RRP price? Colour me skeptical.

    These guys (MLID and Steve from HUB) are talking more about RDNA3 being about the same uplift as RDNA2 was to RDNA1, so 1.4x to 1.6x, and more expensive to boot.

    More Vram and 10% more price. Sounds like a pipe Dream.
    4090 = $4500 AUD.

    9-12 months out I'm going to say the RTX 4090 is $3200 +/- $200 (AUD) at retailers at launch.

    Hey let me dream :D

    With the raw power demand they seem to be throwing around I can see a double of performance is possible. I am thinking for those still on 10 series or earlier, it might be a good chance to drop a tier or 2 and still get a good uplift. Like my 1080 I wanted to get a 3080 but my wallet didn't. A 4070 might do the job well in my case, possibly a 4060 pending DLSS 3.0 improvements etc.

    Grr why did I bother clicking. This guy is so obsessed over his own news and rumours being accurate... so painful to watch, even if there's interesting facts presented...

    That's because we are at new pricing levels now. Market has shown it can bare the new pricing, so that's where it will be now, imo of course.

    I'd love to hit some AMD rDNA this time round but it will all come down to Blender performance and looking at that 4090, thats going to be pretty hard to beat. Though, if AMD get this MCM design going that could also be a monster for rendering.

    NV aren't going to sabotage their own sales while demand still massively outstrips supply.

    AMD might be able to nudge market pricing if they want to go aggressive with RDNA3, but they too seem to prefer profit over market share (at the moment).

    Unless Intel can magically overcome the supply chain issues that will still exist at ARC release time (Q1/2 2022) I can't see how they will have much of an impact on NV or AMD pricing.

    It's early, I know, but nv say supply will increase in 2h22, so how's this for a theory?

    4060 and under on Samsung 8nm.
    4070 and up on TSMC (5nm? I forget which).

    It'll allow a large increase in die supply, and near-simultaneous launches of mid and high end cards.
