una wait till pascal GTX1080 or what ever it is, not worth upgrading to this unless you "want to" . If we wait 1 more year the pascal gpu's will prob give use 20%+ performance per watt and the new features it comes with.. Really sick of 28nm GPU's lol.

Oh finally a high end 900.

Looks good but yeah i think i would rather a AMD card.

Hoping it will push the WAY overpriced 980 down.

Price is also confirmed $799 U.S, too bad it's going to be a ridiculous price once it arrives in Aus

What? In the above comparison it is 15% faster than a 970..... for $1000+ AUS. Pretty bloody disappointing really if that is all you get for double the price.

Maybe ok for 4K, but it will truly blow if two are needed for strong fps.

Yep, I agree. I didn't realise it would be $800+USD, thought it would be cheaper tbh. At this stage, I think I will go with a 970 when I upgrade

Seems like the 970 still offers the best bang for the buck

    Whats highend and not 4K?

Why would anyone look at a $1000 part for a 1080P lcd? The 256bit bus is a dead set sign of midrange small die card that nvidia fooled people into paying highend prices for.

Really its either shows how good nvidia is at marketing or how stupid nvidia fanboys are.

I dont think after june even with aussie tax the 980ti will be $1000. Most likely 980 prices now which will make it a good card.

I'm tipping it will be 1000 bucks. the titan is 1599. Since when has nvidea every priced a gpu at a good price. They will fit it in between there current 980 piece of junk and over priced titan.

970 is only the best value if your a nvidea fan boy. Otherwise amd are the best bang for buck. 970 is just a overpriced 3.5gb card.

There's some information on hardforum it might be 650, which I think is more reasonable. But I'm waiting for the 390x reveal before buying anything.

Well, I hope this card can make Geraldt of Rivia's hair flow nicely at 1440p.
