Hence why I went with EVGA. I would deal directly with them.
Hey walker - where is the info on the new support?
Having 780ti SLI (yes I paid $1000 each for them when they were new ) I am not looking forward to my next upgrade, but if they are going to be reasonably supported that is great - particularly the memory stacking as that is probably the biggest limitation at the moment...
Thanks for this, very helpful.
I am also 1440p, 1080p is too small these days.
This was posted on the front page and mentions the DX12 support levels for older cards.
Here's a review on the SC version.
Edit: Hmm so yeah I have read that before, but doesn't mention anything about memory stacking.... :S
Wonder if/when this EVGA Hybrid will be available here. Max of 50°C with an overclock, pretty nice.
I wish Gigabyte would hurry up and release the clocks on the G1 Gaming, quit being a cock tease.
I hear ya!
The eVGA Hybrid looks nice, but by the sounds of it we aren't getting it any time soon, like the GTX980 version not showing up here:
Can you please provide my Australian retailer the SKU's to order a 980TI hybrid
I'd just buy it from Amazon.
From newegg last time I checked delivered the MSI one with aftermarket coolers was $900 AUD.
Just double checked, it's disappeared for now, out of stock I guess or something else going on.
waiting for the strix + 2 months for prices to settle down. not paying an early adopters tax
I learnt the hard way with the GTX980 release.
That new Strix looks awesome, will find it hard to resist when it's released..
same here...not really keen on ref. card plus I'm hoping that AMD will stir the waters at least a bit with Fury-X and push the prices bit down, mwave has MSI with after market for $1150.00 that a price I paid for EVGA Signature Edition 690 back in the day (shipped from US)
Anyone have benches determining average difference between normal 980 and ti variant?
Why are the 980Ti SLi results so poor (in this review anyway)?
The pcgamer review? The sli setup is 2x 980's not 980Ti's.
What is the go with stock for Australia?
Looking at PCCG and Scorptec it shows as either "Sold Out - No ETA" or an ETA a few weeks away for brands that I don't really want.
Are they just waiting for it to arrive and sold pre-orders or did some lucky SOBs actually pick up some cards?
Also - do people really think there will be a price drop "soon"? I'd be looking to pick one up between now and the next 3 months... is that a reasonable timeframe? I presume it depends on how good the HBA is on the new AMD R9 390X?
