Pretty much what I did for my 980Ti. Should get on the EVGAs since international warranty. And save yourself $300

    all these salty people.....

The reality is people are voting with their wallets and retailers can't get enough of the cards.

The real problem has been the local disties have been seriously over stocked with 980ti/980/970 so they have artificially been keeping the price high so they can clear the old cards or enforcing bundling of GTX10x0 with older cards. Also most of these first shipments have been coming in via air, anyone think its cheap to send pallets by air and the cost won't be passed onto you and I? It takes a least a month to ship a container from china to AU and that's if you prayed to the sea gods and Au customs. Don't expect mass availability or price drops until well into July/August timeframe.

If i can fly a card from American to Australia and have it cost me $40, then I'm sure local distributors could do it for cheaper.

You obviously don't understanding how logistics work. When shits gets flown by air you don't just get charged by weight but also volume.

Exactly, if the new cards were less they'd never clear out superseded stock

Has any one read any thing about a 980ti water block fitting a 1080:confused:

I have a 980ti block but don't have a card, still rocking a 6870:lol:, so even a 980ti will be a HUGE upgrade, but IF this block will fit a 1080:cool:

all I want is one (or two) strix or FTW so I can finish my build

rocking intel 530 is just sad

EDIT: speaking of tired.... wish my kid would sleep already so I can pinch the white sleeved cables from her PC :Pirate:
