    nvidia's next level trolling roadmap

Release titan x while not bothering to change the name and charge 1200
Release 1080ti a few weeks later to troll pitan owners by charging 900 and releasing card to partners who bring out cards that end up being faster then pitan
AMD's vega heaves into sight, just after nvidia releases a full die 1080ti and Titan X that smash vega and still dosnt bother to change the names

New card follows the titan x naming and is called the "980ti"

Rainbow Six Siege, also in Fire Strike (but not always, which is strange). The hot fix has improved it, but it still doesn't feel "right".

Does anyone know whether the partners like Zotac will be introducing a 1070 with a stronger power supply than what is already available? Seems that whenever these cards are fed extra power their performance keeps creeping up, with a 15-18% gap against the 1080 that could come a lot closer...

Both are $459.99USD with anywhere from $20-40USD for basic shipping which brings it to around $640-650AUD. Yes I am watching it closely :D

Have you got stats for this? The opposite has been mentioned a few times in this thread with people stating they all overclock the same regardless of brand/cooler/pcb

Re FTW - yes its up to 459 now but regularly drops to 439 so keep watching

    :)

Hall of Fame 1070 has all the goodies and they typically end up with a LN2 bios with everything unlocked. I dont know about the bios being available yet.

I'm looking at going to the dark side and grabbing a 1060, as i'll only be gaming at 1080p I assume it'll be more than capable?

Perhaps on current titles and some with lower AA, as the 1070 is comparative to the 980ti.

Well i'm only really looking at playing Starcraft 2 Legacy of The Void, Star Citizen and No Man's Sky at present which my current card (Ati 4870) won't run well or at all so I'm happy to completely drop the AA :)

Honestly I wish I hit favorite because I recall the Amp! edition of the 1070, when overclocked, was consuming a full 100W more than the other 1070s and overclocked far better.

well I put on the Zotac AMP! 1070 BIOS on my ASUS Turbo 1070 and I push it to 120% TDP.
If it only allows 120% TDP i dont see how you can get 100W more than other brands though? And the ASUS Bios allowed 112% TDP so the zotac isnt much higher than others.

I could prefer a bios with 140% actually but I cant seem to get nvflash to work anymore. i cant even flash my old bios back lol
