nvidia struggled during the ATI 9500/9700/9800 days so each company has experienced difficulty before its just that AMD decided to target a different market which left us with just Nvidia in the high end space

also gameworks and paying off media did not help amd from that end as we all saw with fallout 4 patched to 1.3

still hope amd have enough in the bank from working with consoles to enter the high end segment even if they have no titan challenger

Depends on how well Zen performs

RX 480 is still a good card now that prices have stabilized.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered my 1080

Couldn't resist with the 20% off ebay tech frenzy thing

paid less than what the EVGA FTW costs from Newegg for a ROG card (matches the other shit in my rig...)

might have half a chance of actually using my 4k monitor now

Too bad a lot of things only come down to MSY prices after discount is applied ... eg 6800K from futu is $699-20% = $559 (msy price)

Yeah, its pretty shitty but beats having to wait at MSY stores and stuff.

Rather pay the same and get it delivered

I assume like any other online store.
Post it back to them if there is an issue.

Seem to be a big company with a high rating on eBay. Not sure how much that means but its not like they are going to disappear over night.

If the retailer gives you trouble then the manufacturer should take care of it, Asus has done this with me once ages ago.

has there been any launches of GTX 1050/Ti based laptops yet? really hoping either the Clevo/Metabox 14" or the dell XP 13/14 will be updated with one.

I doubt the XPS lineup will be refreshed so quickly, they only just updated the 15" to 6th gen CPU, and the 13" has only just been refreshed with 7th gen CPU.

Its normally refreshed on CPU cycles, rather then GPU cycles in the past? I suppose the 15" is due to be upgraded to 7th gen then, but I doubt it'll be any time soon, as the current model has only been around since early this year..

Very tempted to order from the Futu online... But I don't like to venture too far from the usual online stores for hardware. :D

Good deals though... Does PCCG match prices? :p

Ordered mine on futu yesterday, it's on the courier in brisbane now so should hopefully have it today.

MSY are doing clearance on gainward cards right now if you're willing to go for one of the more yamcha brands.
