AMD should get their shit together, nVidia getting away with ripping us off. :tired:

Would have probably paid much less for my 1070 is there was decent competion from AMD. :thumbdn:

Neither this or the Aus one worked for me, USA site says nope only for USA/AUS residents. And AUS guys said only supports cards sold by PLE Computers and MA Labs.

They said to try Newegg support.. not sure how ill go with that.

I wish I had your standards, hows 30fps life? :p

Yeah, but then I have to use AMD drivers. Bad enough I'm forced to still use them in my laptop, fooked if I'll choose them voluntarily!

AMD burned me once too often. Fuck those guys.

If I didn't use hand me downs I'd probably be the same way. I always use an old card and use it as an excuse to buy a new one.

Can't a decent CPU (skylake) onboard graphics basically do this anyway?

The 1080Ti already boosts dam high so its not likely to help much, it only helps on the TITAN's as they only boost to like 1850 out of the box...

There is a little performance gain for memory if you hit the right number where its synched properly which is usually around +550mhz on my card.

All that said though, I only overclock for benchmarking, In the real world I simply don't need the speed, the card is stupidly fast as is.

I wonder how much of a difference the shunt mods would make to a 1080 Ti...

Can they be done on 3rd party PCBs or just the FE PCB?

It's unfortunate that the cards don't seem to OC that much... like the 980 Ti had less cores than the old Titan X (Maxwell) yet could clock better so it worked out better for benches... but now your only option for absolute max performance is to go for the Titan Xp as it'll just cap at 2100mhz if you're lucky like the 1080 Ti...

LOL they OC alot...NVIDIA just made a last minute decision to let them boost higher out of the box otherwise you would be down at TITAN X speeds.

Shunt mod is only worth it if the card is hitting the 120% PCAP

Damn, forgot to ask as well...
How does warranty work when you buy any Titan overseas? I have never had a card fail so haven't had experience with this but you never know right?
