I'm waiting for this 1080Ti to ship Not waiting to ship edit. Amazon was too slow and Microcenter had these in stock. Went on a trip last night and played until 3am. Lordy that 11 GB is a vast improvement over the 4 GB 980 I was hitting a gaming ceiling in some games and especially VR content, then I got paid for a PC build. 980 going as a bonus to buyer since they are family.

I jumped on the 980 ship a couple months before the 980 Ti dropped. First time going to such a fierce GPU! :o

Newegg just upped their price on the EVGA ftw3 by $40 since this morning. Went to finally purchase after a week of indecisiveness and this now puts it up over the $1000 mark.

Anyone know where I can grab one less than a $1000 Aus?

Even with the 10% pinch code all sellers are still over $1000 Aus dollars.

Just ordered one from B&H photo and video. The price is still under the Gst and import duties threshold.

I saw the sale a couple of posts up but EVGA international warranty swayed me.

Did you get the 1080 ti ftw3??
Amazon had it for the same price $779 US and gave an estimate of $150 USD import feeds. Hope you're under the GST limit.

Yea.... Got the FTW3. I'm pretty sure it came under. If I added a slightly higher card it automatically calculated import and tax fees but the same calculation came in at under $1000 for the FTW3. My credit card so far says it hasn't been added.

After waiting all that time for vega I got a Gigabyte nVidia GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming OC. Looking forward to finally being able to play DS3 at a reasonable framerate.

haha yeah man i think people jumped the gun a bit given where AMD are at.

Might see a refresh on Pascal this year who knows. GDDR6 versions? would be sweet

Enjoy its an amazing card not only in performance but aesthetics and build quality.
