You'll need PCP&C's 1KW psu to run two of those
I bet Dell made those so they could say theres a video card solution that can drive their new 30" panel at decent fps :p

So can you put 4 of these in Gigabyte's quad vid card mobo? Probably have a few problems with the SLi connectors heh and no space for a soundcard but thats 192 pipelines of grunt :p

Does anyone else find those pics look a little dodgy? Until Dell says it, I'm skeptical.

becasue the asus one is only 7800 GTs where as this made from full 512mb 7800GTX (which is quite a bit faster than the normal gtx)

low quality doesnt mean dodgy :p
    looks fine to me

edit: its on nvidia's website so its not dodgy :)

Keep the cards as indpendent Dual-GPU Cards and make them have Dual-Link DVI's. 2 x 24" Dell LCDS :D

Dedicated SLI Boxes for a dozen 9800GTXTX cards? Actually I wonder if nVidia will do a 9XXX series, after ATi's done it already...

well ati did a 7x00 series, and a 8x00 series, so most likely.

Anyways moving on, far to expensive for anyone sane, but that won't stop some :p

Apparently Dell & nVidia thought 4 cards in SLI wasnt powerful enough for the new version of Minesweeper. They have just released this new model with 32 7800GTXXX 1GB cards in SLI. The specs:

    10.4 Gazillion transistors
    328 hunderd quadbillion Gigapixels/nanosecond
It only has 1 pixel pipeline,
but it's the kind used by the Water company to pump seawater up from the ocean floor: about 30,000 litres/minute.

Will it ever stop?? Damn I hope not hehe

Bah I feel like kicking Dell for sticking with P4-EE in that system instead of a top end Athlon 64!

EDIT: That XPS Mobile Concept could end up being the ultimate LAN machine! :D
