anyone got any ideas or fixes for the following problem:

currently i have my HTPC with a radeon 2600xt connected to my plasma panel through a dvi to dvi cable running at 1280x720, all is sweet.

i've recently purchased an atom ion based nettop with the aim of replacing my bulky htpc.

hooked it up to my plasma panel through a hdmi to dvi cable and when i select 1280x720, i get garbledness.....

why can the radeon do the res but the nvidia cant? google tells me something about edid??

    any thoughts?

change your timing mode to somethign something cwt? when you click advanced when making a res theres a mode setting, some of em starts with C.

otehrwise roll back back baaaack to a 183.xx driver where non standard res' worked perfectly..

i have to run an early driver to get 1366x768 output, anything newer returns no signal from my tv even with the exact same settings, the only difference beting the driver.
