t. nvidia marketing department.
i smell another 970 3.5gb shit
best one I remember is GeFroce 4 AKA GeForce 2 rebadge, that ended up selling shitloads, despite Radeon having superior cards at that time. Would love to have nvidia marketing boys working for me
GeForce 4 mx. my pc came with one :'( i pulled it out and put in a Radeon 9600xt but invidia already got the money
rx 580 seems to have come down in price lately. a reasonable option in it's price niche.
Vega 56 finally dipping to 400usd is shipped I also recommend it if your tired of waiting for turing /navi
Funny, exactly same here
vega 56 650aud , plus shipping....
700 for vega 56 locally.
1070 at 569 aud.
1070ti at 649aud
can get a rx 580 for 400aud local. a tad better than a 1060 3gb , a tad worse than a 1060 6gb.
1060 6gb @ 400 aud. - edit not in stock it seems
still trumped by the 1060 6gb at that price (barely). but it's close.
1060 3gb - 315aud free shipping
gtx 1050 - 159aud
Got mine for $719 at harvey norman, wish i got it when the cars where $700aud but ill take it, card pulls card.
As for Turing related crap whats going on ? GDDR6 or whatever is ready so whats the hold up? Nvidias drivers holding them up ?
Scorptec has Zotac gtx 1060 6GB for 379 pp atm, you forgot to add GST and duties for Newegg goods.
i dont get from o/s anymore.
good spot on the zotac.
thats a 250usd card, $350+ is a little steep
wfftech with more news/info/rumor:
Not sure if this allowed (delete if not), but ebay has a nice discount on right now, 25% off if you've got ebay plus (can free trial it)
So you could get a 1080 Ti OC for $899
You can also get an 8700K on that discount as well.
Well, it's not a GTX1180, so you've put it in the wrong thread....
I suck at this
For all we know it really is and just a process improvement .
Could be a 550Ti with a new cooler being on fleabay.
Yikes almost August and still nothing. Navi cant come soon enough
lol those should have been $850aud from the start and thats still too much for a gpu, same with the 1080.
NV are stupidly overpricing their gpu's enjoying those phat margins.
remember this thing in 2007 at 500aud (632aud in cpi inflated dollars) ? it was a slightly upper midrange card. (for me i got 2 of these for an sli experiment, then sold them)
8800gtx was around 850$ aud? which is just over a grand in adjusted 2017 dollars.
and the 8800 ultra...forget about it
performance per dollar in relative terms, it seems to me that the value is slightly better graded in the current lineup.
I gotta disagree mate. I've got a GTX1080 in my desktop at home and an R7 370 in my laptop. The R7 370 drivers are a pain in the arse. Some games it doesn't even pick up that there is a card and reverts to the cpu graphics, they frequently crash, i'm unable to assign a fan curve etc etc. I've followed every guide online for possible fixes to improve stability but have not had any luck. Tried different versions, tried third party software, reformatting, changed bios settings, I've spent hours and days on it and only ended up more frustrated then when i started. During all this time i got to know the drivers back to front. As the GTX1080 is my main gaming rig I've gotten to know the nvidia drivers back to front too.
I'm not trying to fan boy here, i honestly have no preference between the two, i think brand loyalty is dumb. I bought the 1080 because it was the best available at the time and had AMD had a better card available at the time i would have purchased it instead. I'm just commenting on my experience between the two manufacturers drivers, which I've found nvidia to be objectively better.
