nvlddmkm.sys crashing

I keep getting an nvlddmkm.sys issue and the blue screen of death.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, moved the nvlddmkm.sys from the Nvidia folder to the system32/drivers folder, nothing seems to work.

Any idea's? Fresh install of windows maybe?

 

Did you run DDU to uninstall?

 

I did a format/re-install on windows, still throwing up the error.

What driver version?

 

070, driver: 388.71 (latest)

 

Does it crash under load or is it random like on the desktop?

 

Under load, its fine as long as i don't play games.

 

Sounds like a fubar card tbh, do you have a spare card or machine to test with by any chance?

 

Sadly its a laptop... all good under warranty.
