Hadn't shot any landscape for the last 3 or 4 years until my recent trip to NZ, and re-found what I really do enjoy shooting C&C welcome, cheers Mark 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9.
Welcome to the Photography forum gallery Mark Always love seeing landscapes from NZ. #9 is my favourite
Thanks for the comments all Dan, you are correct, 3 and 4 are the only wide-angle shots, from memory 1 and 6 were shot with a 60mm Macro lens, the rest are all 80-200mm.
Wow this is breath taking i would use thoses pic as my screen display picture but i need full hd photos.
quick answer...everywhere, seriously, if you're driving there's plenty to see on the south island. The majestic views and the long white cloud will have you pulling over to take photos every 15mins!!
This is true, we spent 3 weeks on the South Island in a hire car, so we were pulling over all the time whenever we turned a corner to see another spectacular view ! Photogenic places I would recommend are anywhere inland, especially Lake Tekapo and Lake Wanaka, Mt Cook NP, and the Otago Peninsula on the coast.
Wow, 5,6,7,8 is just amazing! The contrast in the scene, both lighting and environment is beautifully captured
Nice and sharp I like them... can I ask? did you bump up the contrast a fair amount in all this shots? What post processing went on?
