Hmmmm, not for me. I'm considering a change to my situation and getting work over in NZ, Christchurch more specifically, but just not sure I could do the weather : ( Love the warmer months of Adelaide.

Submitted my EE Profile over the weekend. We'll see if it bears any fruit in the form of an ITA.

    later rather than sooner...maybe...oh man!

No idea. I'm just collecting my docs in the meantime. I already requested for a police certificate and that'll take a few weeks.

I also hope that having a non-alcoholic fatty liver doesn't make me inadmissible.

If I do get it I might just go and collect it and keep working in Australia for a few more months before heading over to try again.

Done any investigating about how strict they are with health checks?

Some say that if it's not transmittable then it's ok...but won't know until I do the test.

EDIT: I am working on getting the problem under control.

Is three months the official timing? Seems like a rather long time!

I just renewed a passport that was expired for 8 years (well became a new one I guess) and it took just less than two weeks.

    Three months seems incredibly long.

I was told it was up to 5-6 months. I'm gonna have to apply before the month is out.

no idea. i do know the acceptance rate was decreasing and I got an ITA within a week of sending the initial application. I somehow got to be eligible for FSW and CEC probably cos I have relatives in Canada already.

Will have to see what the cutoff date for entering Canada for PR. I was told the date is based on the date of the medical exam, plus 1 year. I'm still in the process of getting money so yeah.....:p

You seem to be ticking all the boxes so I don't expect it will be a long wait.

I don't want it to come too early, definitely not this year but preferably next year. All the paperwork is uploaded to the CIC so it's just a matter of hitting that submit button.
