I'm sure some of you will have seen the thread and also the news page about the case/computer that is being made and donated to auction for funds to help one of our members son Xander, Panda's Ear.

Here are some youtube links from Panda's Ear:

If people would like to make a donation to Panda's Ear they can do so. If you wish you can leave your OCAU user name. Xander's dad is going to try to give us updates telling us what funds have been raised via the forums. They need to raise $100,000 and they are about 2/3 or the way to their goal.

If you prefer to make a bank deposit donation this is the details you'll need:

    Account Name: Alexander Marcus Rogerson
    Bank: NAB
    BSB: 083 028
    Account No.: 39 275 2702

    Paypal details:

    donate@pandasear.org.au

As we did with our last fundraiser we are also going to allow members to list items for sale with the proceeds of the sale going to Panda's Ear. Of course it's acceptable to ask for a separate payment to be made directly to yourself to cover the cost of postage. Any sales directed to Panda's Ear will be stickied in the trading forums, or if there are too many I will put a sticky with a list of any current sales in the one thread. Any sales would have the funds directly paid either by paypal or straight in to Alexander's bank account. As funds appear they will be confirmed by Alexander's dad so that the items can then be posted.

If you think you can help in any way it would be much appreciated.

There is a sticky in PC and also Non PC where sales will be linked. If any threads are needed for other areas just let me know and we'll do a sticky there as well.

The first sale is now listed here.

Just a heads up that Grill'd at Highpoint are supporting Panda's Ear for the month of February. If you eat there you can support Panda's Ear by popping the token in the Panda's Ear Jar.

    Thank you!

We're grateful to have had another couple of sales dedicated to Panda's Ear recently. Thanks to everyone that is getting on board.

They only have five and a half months to raise another $26,000. Seems like an enormous task but one that will improve Zander's life greatly.

Don't forget to keep your eye on the stickies in the trading forums for sales with funds raised going to Panda's Ear. Link in my signature.

They only need another $25,000.

The money raised by our very generous members is a minimum of $3700 but probably $4000 or more as some funds were issued under real names so they can't say for definite.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT CONTRIBUTED, YOU GUYS/GALS ARE AMAZING!

Thinking of them all and hoping for the best outcome. Nervous and excited for them all.

Updates from Panda's webpage as I'm not on facebook.

Holey moley, it's a long procedure. Talk about suspense. Can't wait until it's all finished.
