OCAU: March - May 2007 Modding Competition.

OK, agg has given this the go, so its on again, our modding competiton.
This time its going to be longer and alot more organised. :leet:
The Competition will run from the 1st of March until the 31st of May.

    RULES:
    1. No More than one mod is to be submitted per contestant.
    2. You MUST include a worklog with your ocau user name and the date in at least one of the photos.
    3. You MUST register to be judged (Just post "count me in" in this thread)
    4. Entries must be in before: 11:59 PM, Melbourne Non-daylight saving time, 31st May 2007

OTHER INFORMATION: - You may enter one component of a case mod, eg. Custom cooling unit, modded PSU
    OR
    - you must enter one whole case mod eg. Themed case, fully completed mod.
    - You may enter work you have started on previously and finished or work that is still in progress, but if you wish for this competiton to be fun please try not to submit works that have been finsihed for over 6 months.
-There is a budget of $200 dollars per contestant and you must justify how you spent it. The budget of 200 dollars is to accomdate members who do not have alot of money and so the mod is about talent rather than who can pump the most money it. And it ads a challenge.
-The budget is for things like: Bog, paint, Primer, Perspex, metal, & electronic components
such as resistors and LEDs. Things that are new, things which you already own are not counted
on the budget, either is hardware such as CPU, Motherboard & watercooling parts.
-Post your worklog here, please do not link, proper worklogs only.

Judge: kayl - our resident extreme cooling expert.

Count me in...terested. I may not be able to manage a full case mod at this time due to other commitments, but I'd like to enter regardless. My thinking cap has been working overtime lately, but once we know the details of the comp I'll have have an idea of my potential in this.

Good one Slamaa & Agg. Good on you guys for organising another comp! ...can't wait :weirdo:

isnt there meant to be like a $100 limit on modding in the rules or something like that aswell?

What if we already have the parts? Can its be '$100 worth of mods' on an existing case? Probably goes without saying, just want to be sure :D
