Whereas I was weak and didn't wait. So went with the CM Storm instead.

It's a good thing though because chances are my family would had killed me by now considering how much they hated the sound of the blue switches.

IMO topre is mushy, not much better than rubber dome. Filco is much better.

I know it's been said but I can't help it, 2 things are wrong with this:
    1. it's bullshit
    2. Filco is a brand not a switch

Topre pwns every cherry unless maybe you like a super stiff switch and are comparing a uniform 30g topre with black MX

    What can we say about........Topre........

Browns, Blues and Blacks within the Cherry range are not "super stiff" I'll say they are a shade lighter than a Model-M, especially the Blacks. Although I'm still on the lookout for some Clears to make some comparisons.

For the effeminate go Topre, but if your hardcore, then a Good Cherry board won't let you down.

hardcore? Effeminate? What on earth are you talking about? I don't think they are terms applicable to any keyboard except maybe the pink filco, if you were born in the 1950's

The only way you could say topre feels mushy vs MX is if you are comparing the lightest topre with the heaviest MX. And even then you would be wrong, mushy is not a word that suitably describes topre. And my 55g is a million miles from it and far better than the blues/reds boards I got here

While i do agree with most of what you say, saying topre pwns all as a general statement is wrong. Switches are pretty subjective.

    OK let me rephrase it:

In my humble opinion based on all the keyboards I have owned, topre pwns all MX switches except for browns and clears, which I am unqualified to comment on, never having used them.

I don't think the man who said Topre feels mushy compared to Filco or topre is effemitate has owned a topre board

edit: also, it's not a general statement, it's followed with an example of how cherry blacks might be prefferable over a light topre for someone that likes a heavier switch.

and as of today I'm one of those ppl that takes a keyboard to work LOL I never thought I would but I am going to stash it when I am not here I can't use the shitty flat Dell thing no more I keep hitting my mouse on it and my shoulder gets sore, poker is now gonna get some use
