G710+'s at DSE Ebay are going for around $105 if someone's looking to get into the Cherry MX Browns and Full Size Gaming keyboard.

Got myself a Filco TKL off the forums and the quality is so much better than the iKBC and Deck that I've had previously ... except it has ABS caps!!!!

Anyone have an TKL Thick PBT keycap sets they want to offload?

I'm quite out of the loop when it comes to Mech Keyboards. What's my best option for a 60% wireless board, with MX Blues?

Thanks for the suggestion but looking for something a bit better. I'm ATM using a mix of the Vortex PBT from the F104 that died and the stock ABS ones. The PBT on my Ducky G2Pro feel so much nicer than the Vortex ones.

I'm a bit sad I didn't get the Granite set when they came up, otherwise the Imsto ones looked good too!

There are some interesting GB on GH ATM, might take the plunge on one of those -- was hoping someone around here had a spare set of something nice they wouldn't mind parting with.

There aren't a lot of wireless options, it has been discussed in the thread before, I remember somebody mentioning it, if you search the thread you might find your answer until somebody comes along with a suggestion for you.

Thanks for the replies guys. That Filco might be the way to go, it's a shame it's ugly. I could mod it though. Or buy a Poker 3 and modify that. Hmm. Decisions.

Is there a minimum purchase price I shouldn't look to go under with a mech kb? $100+ would be fine?

There's not really a minimum purchase price, but generally (like anything) the more you spend the better quality and more features you get.

Minimum i would start at is a CM Storm Quickfire TK and move up from there.
/r/mechkb on reddit has lots of info and a wiki with what's good at the moment.

Are you looking for anything in particular?

you get what you pay for as long as you are not paying for gimmicks

honestly i dont think the quickfire TK is a good keyboard, mine flexes when you press any key in the F9 to F12 cluster as the whole black plate dips downs. I opened it up and found that its due to the lack of standoff/support in that area.

IMO the ducky zero with mx browns is an excellent starting point

Nothing in particular other than I would love it to have low profile keys and illuminated keys for night time.

In terms of price, I only ask as a rough guide of what I should be looking to purchase above.

From what I can see anything half decent seems to start at the very least around $100+....would that be right?

    As always

At that price, you can't go wrong.

I have the Ducky DK9008G2 Pro and this is the only board I've seen since that which comes with the thick PBT caps standard.

The mix of clears/browns is a bit odd but if you can get past that then the build quality of all the Ducky boards is excellent (the Zero not as much).

the keycaps have been on massdrop before and pccg have sold engraved versions in the past, just keep an eye out for them and they'll pop up eventually.

I was looking forward to the ducky premier, apparently boards were made but fucked if i could find may places that actually sold them. shiny LEDs seems to be all the rage at the moment :/
