I see a lot of people here prefer 65g+ springs, any particular reason why?

Personally, coming from MX Cherry Blacks to Reds has been a massive improvement imho. Allows for so much quicker typing.

95c per switch from daily clack of custom kdb. So about $90 to fill a gmmk pro (also available at PCCG currently)

I tried both recently and found I like the 68g on my space bar but 62g on my smaller keys. Felt there was almost no resistance given the weight of the space bar with the 62g spring

Ah yeah I guess if you had heavier caps, that would counter the extra resistance

Quick little sound comparison on the boba silent compared to my halo clear switches (both lubed)

reckon the boba’s sound and feel better too but depend if you like the thock or not :)

Man the Halo Clears are quite thocky on your board. Sounds great. I find the silents to be too devoid of character but i get their purpose

hey don’t get me wrong, the thock is lovely just not when my daughter is asleep next door and I’m in constant fear of waking her!

Also what they lack in sound they make up in feel :)

FYI I will be selling these soon if anyone wants them

+1 for allcaps, not the largest range but good pricing and very quick turnaround as well.

quick question regarding wrist rest height, does it matter if it's flush with the board? or can it be a little bit less? I'm looking at some wooden ones on etsy and notice the heights vary so not sure if that matters or not.

also I know it's better to not use one at all while typing but while resting in between typing I need something to sit my palms on given my board (drop ctrl) is much higher than my old one k75 and I'm finding my wrists bending a lot more

Ayy, finally got around to lubing the stabilizers on my SK621 and it's a night and day difference. No more pinging! Especially the enter key, which was pretty horrific, but it's perfect now

Depends on how you type, but I do prefer the wrist rest to be as aligned as possible to the vertical height on the key caps. It's one of the reasons why I wanted to try low profile key caps so much. It feels much more comfortable to me.

alright finally managed to lube and install all the boba u4 switches into my drop ctrl and I must say I am very happy with them. Not sure the lube made much difference but I enjoy the process and had plenty to spare.

about half way through I was thinking oh no I do miss that thock of my halo clear switches but these have a lovely bumb to them and a nice and quiet for typing on I find :)

will be listing the halo clears for sale soon, lubed and ready to go.

This is why I love clicky switches so much, no maintenance and who cares about ping when you can't hear it over the clicks

dam I'm eyeing up that gmmk pro for sale but I just clipped my boba's and now wondering if they will be loose in a pcb mount board.

anyone got experience with that? should I be worried or will be ok?
