Quite a few of those would be from first option syndrome, tl;dr crew or trolls.

This proposal stinks alright. At least we know what the next lying PM needs to do to get voted into leadership... Promise to get rid of the filter, thats if it last long enough to see a poll i guess.

I really want to have an in depth "chat" with that Jim Wallace, he clearly doesn't actually understand what he's talking about and has absolutely no problem with using tactics he has labelled as "mischevious" (selective information).

I very much doubt that the filter will go ahead. As time rolls on it will get more and more opposition and while the supporters will become more and more vocal it will become clear to the general population that the key supporters are fringe groups of radical christians while the key opponents are technical experts who actually understand the filtering and its effect.

I hope that the people of Australia see this and kick up enough of a fuss that the government can't possibly go ahead.

Even if they do, I feel it will be political suicide and it will get rolled back when they get voted out next election.

Listened to the original broadcast, Wallace's points seem to conflict with on another. Looks like he doesn't even know what he's talking about:rolleyes:
