I'd be worried about them going off with so much air in the bottle. Now I try to finish off a bottle before opening a new one.

Yeah look, there is always that, I tend to try and finish off the peated ones sooner rather than later as to me they seem to suffer the quickest (especially the peat component of them). However given the 3 new bottles the Mrs got me in a week, i have some room to polish off a couple I reckon!!!
Cracked the 2010 Bruichladdich Islay Barley on my wedding day while getting ready with the lads, holy shit I forgot how tasty that particular dram was! Suspect the remainder of that bottle will not last long.

    Hey guys,

What's a really good smokey whisky in the 100-120 price range?

How strong do you want the smokey to be?

The search will go for a couple of weeks. Gonna try some different ones before I buy hopefully.

Laphroiag (any variety - 10 would be one of the smokiest but least balanced).
    Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Peat Project
    Talisker 10 or Talisker storm

Theres a few for you :p

Hope people are catching the big 20% off deal on ebay with the major liquor outlets. Some fantastic prices.

Having a Wild Turkey American Honey right now, special treat which I wouldn't normally have during the week, but it's close to crissy :D

Came courtesy of the ebay deal above

Hibiki 12 year is now discontinued. Was $209 at Dan's, prices are other places are now $420.

If you can find it for cheap grab it!

Try the Bowmore 15 or lagavulin 16. Both from Islay so they are peaty ....but oh so delicious. Also reasonably priced.
