The packs are prorated - meaning if you sign up half way through your billing period, you pay half the montly fee and get half the downloads.

The E71 that 3 currently sell is the E71-1 which is UMTS2100+UMTS900, so no good for NextG. No firmware flash will change this.

The E71-2 does UMTS850+UMTS1900, so great for Telstra users, no good for 3 users.

The mythical E71-3 does UMTS2100+UMTS850, so perfect for 3 users.

All 3 E71 revisions also do quad-band GSM.

There are no quad-band UMTS handsets on the market as yet.

no need to worry about it myself yet as i only just grabbed the n95, but by the time 3 get covered by nextG i will be ready to hook up on the latest and greatest to do all...

Is anyone using Three for their business phones? Considering switching our fleet over to Three but not really sure how they are for combined phone/data packages (ie PDA usage).

I'm doing a review of our account now (20 mobiles with optus) and have just been speaking to the 3 business centre

My service experience so far has been excellent, looking forward to working out a good deal.

Just concerned about data usage, as we'll be enabling Exchange Push on any handsets. Why doesnt the combined business cap include data?

The new prepaid cap plans are bs! Have to recharge every 30 days or you lose your credit :thumbdn:

There's no way I'll be changing over, I hate how the "prepaid bonus plan" has only 60 days before you lose your credit. I've currently got $130 credit in my account that I can't see every reaching to $0.

Sorry to drag up an old(ish) post but if I may ask whether this kind of information is available to 3 customer representatives?

I have called twice regarding the availability of the E66, to be told "not yet" or something to that effect. No mention of it not stocking the phone at all. I was holding off a new contract with 3 until the E66 was released...

Looks like I am going to have to look at another company.
