Sold my PC(8700K, 16GB 3600, GTX1080, 1.5TB Samsung 970) and replaced it with Hades Canyon NUC & 10" 2in1 laptop. Very happy with new setup, getting around average 130fps on Diablo 3.
I did better that season, missed the witch doctor leaderboard by 8 levels. I think I'll be a sader this season, haven't played one of them for a while.
I have moved to playing on Switch now, its epic being able to play mobile. Will start DH as always, then i dunno.
Planning on playing on both Switch and PC. On other fun news my Look Goblin Amiibo should arrive today!
Season 16: DO NOT do the Challenge Rift for season 16 until the season starts on Saturday at noon (I believe) and you have created a seasonal character. The reason is that the mats and gold from the challenge rift will not be available within the new season. Season 16 is the Season of Grandeur, meaning that you do not have to farm or equip the Royal Ring of Grandeur to receive the benefit of the ring. For more general details of season 16 in regards to changes that will be made with patch 2.6.4 please view the video from Rhykker below and/or read through this post by Blizzard. If you are not sure what class to start with here is a GR tier video showing how strong different builds "should" be for season 16. This video is a seasonal levelling guide with some cool ideas from Bluddshed. There is a general levelling post as the second post of this thread too. This video shows starter builds for each class and rates them. Here are some videos for starter builds for each class. Vyrs Wizard starter build Seeker of the Light Crusader starter build Uliana Monk starter build Immortal King starter build Arachyr Witch Doctor starter build Natalya Demon Hunter starter build Trag'Oul Necromancer starter build With the buff from Blizzard to try to level classes and builds this season will be more fun as cookie cutter builds and 4 player metas etc will matter less. The massive buff to LoN will increase possibilities for speed and rift builds and might even bring some high GR builds to the table. Hopefully it will be lots of fun. I am also moving the clan list over to the first post of this thread and have the current officers listed. Some were removed as they had not played in up to a year and were not contributing to the clan. If you have any questions please post them.
Good to hear you will give it a try. The patch dropped yesterday, did a 116 with DH Natalder's then some 7-10 minute Impale runs with mostly unauged gear, looks to be the new king. Then 110 with Barb then a 105 with WD Spirit Barrage which slaughters trash mobs. Will be looking at T13 LoN Walker tonight.
heh just did gr112 solo with my sc monk(p2914) on first try, gg. I'm gonna probably just play monk again in s16.. so fun.
With the bonus of RORG lots of hardcore builds are adding a defensive piece of armour for toughness as the sets are buffed now. HC looks a good option, if you don't suffer from DCs. Monks are great and Ulianas is quite powerful now too. So you can build for WoL but since the set from Haedrig is Ulianas it's worth giving it a go.
Anyone playing monk this season? I haven't tried it yet but Innas WoL monk seems to be really good and fun too play. It's supposed to be similar to Sunwoko WoL monk but more dmg, ppl did gr105 solo without any augments.
Man I'm loving this season, you can level up so fast(I'm p1337 already) and love the Inna's WoL monk. Also just did gr116 solo and got rank 3 on solo monk leaderboards.
Heh, so many primal drops this season, I'm already wearing 8 primals. (5 on WoL monk n 3 on Shrine monk)
I broke my usual thing of just doing set that comes with the Chapter achievements, but the Necro Tragoul set is just too under powered. I switched to a Rathma skeletal mage build and did 15 GR levels higher straight away. Ancient weapon and that's it, no other ancients, no augments haven't even been to Miriam. I thought they were evening out all the sets?
It's possible you were missing a key item that makes the set viable - but it's equally possible that despite their attempts, not all sets are totally even. I've been doing my usual "complete season journey then run a few more Grifts for Augments before fizzling out". Need to get 3 gems to 70 for the last step of the journey, I'm about 50 at the moment. Shouldn't take long when I have time in between work and uni exams...
