Alright, the previous thread was mainly us talking about info about the release etc.

This thread, instead, is aimed at keeping track of owners of DS units and places you can regularly find those people so you can have some fun with the wireless gaming.

By keeping track of owners and where we regularly travel we may be able to sort out regular groups to meet on trains etc for a bit of multiplay on the way to work/uni etc.

Also, please add a link to this thread with the title 'Nintendo DS Owners Club #X' to your signature.

IF YOU WANT TO BE PART OF THE CLUB PEASE MAKE THAT CLEAR IN ONE OF YOUR POSTS OR PM ME.

Also, if you don't post locations people can find you then I won't add you to the club as the point of the club is helping people be able to play wirelessly against each other.

Picked mine up first thing this morning at EB Chermside and I must say it was a piss weak turn out with 5 people lining up to get in. Got home and turned the DS on to set all the settings, now all I have to do is wait for 4 hours till the thing charges up :(

Mine had zero charge, so I had to wait till I got home, drat! Sadly it also has a stuck pixel :( oh well, least its not that noticeable when playing. Doubt I should even bother saying where I'll have mine turned on, because I have no idea :p

I can also see the next disease affecting people... DS'ers Thumb *rubs feeling back into thumb*

Mine took around 2 hours to fully charge so there must have been some residual charge on there :)
Played a bit of metroid prime hunters demo, super mario 64 ds and tried advance wars from my gba collection to see how it looked. So far, so good and I don't have any dead pixels that I've heard a few people finding.

It uses the same (well slightely different but moddable to be the same) internal battery as the SP, so as such needs the Nintendo charger. A charger is included with the DS package.

Edit: and i should have read the whole thread, coz it was answered :p
