Looks like pricing on the 2021 models is trickling through, JB have much of the range listed as coming soon with pricing.

    A1 55" - $2,795
    A1 65" - $3,895

    C1 55" - $3,295
    C1 65" - $4,495
    C1 77" - $8,495

    G1 65" - $4,995
    G1 77" - $9,495

Betta Electrical have the C1 48" at $2,799, same as the CX. Aussie tax absorbs the price cut there. Boo.

Edit: JB have the CX 48" at $2,375 now. Must check with the Minister of Finance tonight...

It is the G1 model though, if that's the 77" you are looking at. G1 always higher in price. Personally I never think it's worth it but some people have money to burn.

Just saw that and went ugh... not another thing to replace on my OLED... seems to just be 65"+ though so hopefully my 55 is ok.

But not too suggest ours can't possibly catch fire some time in the future ☺️

I’ve been interested in joining the OLED bandwagon, but the covid prices kept me away for a while. My current tv is a 55” 1080p Sony from 2014. I saw a deal on Oz bargains on GX run out from good guys, I managed to get a 65 GX for 3250. I’m pretty keen for it to be delivered. I hope it’s worth it, because it feels like a massive outlay for a TV.

Watch it first with decent bluesy quality
Then watch a movie that's rated good for hdr/Dolby vision

That's an excellent price on a G series LG Oled

I'm hoping the aggressive pricing flows through and we get general decreases across all models and brands.

i just went through a similar upgrade. i still think of the expensive price, but its much less painful now after several weeks. oleds really are candy to the eyes. the quality justifies the high price tag. in hindsight though, id probably be just as happy with a 55. 65 is quite over whelming in my smallish lounge.

I was able to get a Sony 77 oled for $4.5k second hand. Much better to be spending that than $9k on the 2021 model

You can pick up some really good deals second hand. I reckon I sold mine older 65" C7 for an absolute song a while back when I upgraded.
