Size is a quality all of its own.
Anything bigger than 75" becomes problematic to fit onto any sort of table. IMO 77 + 83 are wall mount items. 75-77 is way bigger than 55".

Take everything you thought you knew about TV and throw it in the bin.
I can easily pick up a 55" TV by my self, there is no human alive that and lift a 75". Its a two person job. It also sways in the wind.

    I Wall mount anyways.

So the good guys have matched jb’s pricing on there eBay store, and you get an additional 5% off to a max of 300 bucks for eBay plus. So now makes the 83 inch 6700 pickup or add 35 for postage. Brings the 55 to 2068 as well

My old 55 plasma is 30kg, and a new 77 OLED almost the same.
I've lifted the 55 myself a few times, not to say it was smart or safe. But it can be done :)

Edit - I'll post a pic if it fails :D

BTW I used Mounting Dream brackets from Amazon for my 2x small monitors. Pretty sturdy and decent quality.

Bought one of their larger articulating ones (only $40) for the C1. It says it can do up to 99lbs.

Well worth a try. They have been pretty good at this by all accounts, on a couple of forums

Pretty decent I would say. Claimed twice from them (one in warranty period, one outside) and 100% success rate. Full disclosure however my issue wasn't burn-in but they were great to deal with so I would think you have a good chance of getting a positive result.

They replaced the panel in my 3.5 yr old 55" C7, no questions asked.. as a 'one time gesture'...

    Been a lurker/wannabe here.

    Just purchased the 83" LG.

Cashrewards is having a 7% cashback (ending in 20mins) from ebay.

Works out to be $6,560 after cashback.

I suppose it will only hurt once.

Will be sad to say bye to my trusty 10yo 65" Panasonic plasma

Until I get it mounted on the wall, all I feel is pain. Haha

I was trying to convince my wife to get the 77" and save $2k but wife wants what the wife wants.

    Say 10 years, that's less than $2 a day.

Very good discount, normally they are capped these days. Haven't seen uncapped one for quite a while. Uncapped cashrewards helped me buy my oleds, big discounts were had
