It kinda feels being being at a private cinema :p

For the more "sit back" use / controller type gaming.

Will still play FPS on mouse/Kb on the 27"

Was just playing some soulcalibur VI on 4k on the C1 and it's just...superb.

and wtf. a 3060Ti can run Cyberpunk at 4k high graphics at 60fps solid? It looks fucking amazing. Destroys Cyberpunk on Xbox Series X (which I know..isn't enhanced for the new consoles yet).

Why does everyone say it's not a 4k card. DLSS is a hero piece of tech.

    Edit: ok maybe 50fps

Im not going to be having it on all the time, just when I watch movies or game with a controller so tbh I have zero concern on burn in

don't leave sitting on standard desktop when you're not using it... Wallpaper galleries that vary often or moving ones.. Or turn it off.

Various reasons. The stand works better with a soundbar in front. I like the Google TV interface. I don't play a lot of games where the LG is superior. I do however watch a lot of SD/HD content where the Sony is better.

The stand vs soundbar reason I've heard before

Highly recommend the newer NVIDIA shields. The AI upscaling is head and shoulders above anything else I've seen (not a lot in that list, but worth checking out):thumbup:
Beg borrow or steal one (not mine) and check out the difference it can make.

Ended up back at Harvey Norman (it's the only shop I have local to me) on my way home. Spoke to a third person. First 2 offered $100 and $50 off. This one was a bit better.

Picked up the 65" Sony A80J for $3250. So $245 off the ticket price. More than happy with that. Delivery is Wednesday. Can't wait!

Upgraded to a 77 C1 OLED with the 65 C7 now doing PS5 duties in the rumpus with the Xbox hooked up to the 77. All I can saw is wow.. what a difference that screen size makes.

this is why they won't shift on price. No competition

    Whats that old saying -
The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten

So is the C range the sweet spot over an A range for LG? Looking to kit out our rumpus area with a 60-65" screen.

    Edit: nvm, g > c > a
