We have B8, and starting out I ran Expert Dark Room (always have) and OLED Light at 65. This seemed pretty bright to us, but comfortable, with plenty of head room. Then a family member recently had vision issues and hated brightness generally, so I lowered it down to 15. Way too dark for me, but family member could cope with that while recovering. Then after a few weeks I raised it up to 65 and we all couldn't stand it one bit - way too bright now! Fam insisted I go down to something 'reasonable', so went down to 30 and I've crept it back up to 40 without complaint. It'll stay about there. One reason I crept it back up was that I found that the lower I went with OLED Light, the more motion judder I could detect, especially watching sport e.g. AFL

Exactly the same item, exactly the same end ebay link

The comments at ozb provide some notes about the product/deal that you won't get by directly linking.

Not a referral link, I don't get anything for it at all. I wish I did! You''re not silly, I think you know what a referral link looks like.

 The comments can be quite informative, such as how to get an even better discount by using cash reward type deals, or combining current ebay discounts, etc etc etc. Plus a myriad of other tidbits of info relevant to a deal. And of course not to mention vendor verdict comments which can be useful in themselves.

If you consider whinging bogans "useful", I guess.

The sorts of people who stop at nothing to reduce a $3k item by another $50 aren't my favourite people. Call me class biased if you like, I'll own up to it.

A TV on that (fucking hideous) stand? And a "not very elegant" wall mounting solution? for $40k US?

And.. They insist on using their shitty speakers to boot...

    Pass the crack pipe, LG...

What's the go with getting UK/US apps on WebOS? I was used to doing this very easily on Samsung but I am noticing it isn't that cut and dry on WebOS? Country options in the menu are mostly of this region. Did LG totally lock it down now? Or is the only workaround the lock out is via the service menu?
