Cheers - is it their FB page? I'll check it out. it'll get spent towards another lens anyway... I need the 7-14 to complete my Pro collection...

Well, they've approved my claim for the $200 - so, I may just purchase a 7-14 pro before Nov 30, and get another $200, and claim the GST back when flying out in December, giving me about $500 off the ticket price :thumb:

The 7-14mm is the same price. Oh My Gosh. It makes them both effectively $1079.20 each. I think there is also 3% cashback with cashrewards

should I buy should I buy. The 7-14 tempts me more. I don't need the reach of the 40-150 and I have the 75mm 1.8 already

Welp. Bah. bought the 40-150 with converter and the 7-14. Guess I can now sell 75 1.8 prime, the 40-150 f/4 and a prime now that I have the trinity

7-14 is the same price? Argh.. I may have to grab one. then I'll have the whole Pro set...

Wait, I have to buy via ebay? That kinda sucks... I have cash, and too late to go to bank to deposit it...

On a side note, I'd not sell the 75... It's the best lens Oly make...

Blargh - 7-14 sold out... *sad panda*

Can't really afford to keep the 75 when I have the 40-150 just for that extra stop... Need it to partial fund the lens

From reports, the 40-150 is nearly as sharp.

Why is focus stacking limited to a slowest shutter speed of 1/8? :( Whyyyyyy

I don't see why they couldn't let us pick 5 seconds for example and just do 8 focus stack of that?

Edit: looks like it's because it uses the electronic shutter which is limited to 1/8 with no option to use mechanical shutter. Maybe to prevent shutter shock?

I have not done the update yet, but that sounds mildly annoying...

I purposely picked the Oly EZ Zoom lens for that reason. the Pana 25mm is about the same size as the Oly 45mm which i also carry with me. It's not going to be my primary lens, but i'm finding the 45mm too long to carry around as a low light one...

20mm feels odd to me, but then so does 19mm (was thinking the sigma due to cost)...

    EDIT: it's certainly small though...

That 7-14 is a mighty fine lens.....only drawback is the complete lack of filters, no adaptor ring but there does seem to be an aftermarket clipon type of adaptor
