I think I'll hold off for now as I love the output of the 45mm f1.8, but still rarely actually use it. the 40-150mm is obviously a LOT more, but I often wish I had a lot more reach for taking photos of the Mrs rowing etc. I'll just lust after that for now...

Edit; if you want to sell your 75mm though..........

I've always found 50mm a flat, uninspiring and difficult focal length to work with. I like 35mm though, and I love my 17/1.8 :)

I would go with the 17mm. The build quality is superb and better than the 25.

Both produce decent images. But there's a lot of 25mm options around.

Yeah, underrated for some reason (I think Panasonic used to throw them out with cheap bundles and it kind of set a faux-benchmark); great little lens mind you.

The 14mm was a "kit" lens with some Panasonic bundles... I bought a GF3 with the 14mm and the kit 14-42mm, I kept the 14mm and sold the GF3 and 14-42mm :)

I'm about to upgrade my em-5 to an em-1 pending a bit of testing to see if my four thirds lenses focus speeds up significantly with pdaf instead of cdaf.

I only need a body but the best price I've seen is $1298 at digital camera warehouse (vic). A couple years ago i recall that the body + lens was cheaper (i think a friend bought an em1 with body, 14-42 + 45mm lens for the same price + cash back on top of that). I have seen that kogan offers it significantly cheaper but it being grey import and gerry gibbs even cheaper with a hld7 (supposedly because they separate it from kits). Can anyone suggest where i can get it reasonably priced (preferably with local warranty and in vic?)

For anyone using four thirds lenses - is the speed up in focus worth the spend? (i have two cdaf optimised lenses plus a third that isn't)

*edit* got advice from other forums and bought the e-m1

My E-M1 is back with Olympus for warranty. The back dial kept slipping and it would take 3 or 4 turns sometimes to get it to register. Apparently common issue from looking online...
Also put down if they can do a sensor clean at the same time.
