Wasn't the E-M1 $1,599 at RRP in launch of 2013? Olympus must have rocks in their head if they think they can just tack on an extra $1,200 on that. And there is even more competition than ever before

For $2,800 they has better throw in a a free grip like they did for the E-M1.

I was hoping for $2000, but if it gets down to $2400 I think I'll bite if the C-AF is as amazing as the hype.

They had a super-duper promo; E-M1 body, grip, 45mm lens and $200 debit card for under a grand, so I got two, sold all bar one body and grip.

Well, may have been $100 out of pocket in the end... :)

For $2800, I'd be expecting blowjobs from the cute girl on staff - weekly for a month.

That's.. An insane price for an m43 body... I'll stick with my E-M1

It's ok, I predict Olympus will sell a grand total of 10 units across Australia to the fanboys and then drop their pants.

At that price, you'd be dumb to buy into M43.

In other news - here is an selfie pic I took overseas with a photosphere SG kit, 7-14mm @ 7mm and a ND filter, can't remember if it was 6 stop or 10 - probably 10. I think it's uncropped. There was strong vignetting because I don't think I put the square filter on properly but generally fixable in LR. The kit seems to have some vignetting at 7mm

    F/8 ISO 200 15 seconds

So, I'm considering dropping some cash on a second had OMD EM 10 with a couple of lenses.

Does anyone recommend this camera? Anything to be wary of?

The alternative is a point and shoot Nikon Coolpix 7700...

    Thoughts?
