just saw a few reviews online. it looks like an interesting phone.
ive also read that it wont be making it to australia. but is avail from hong kong, and various countries.
has anyone purchased the previous oneplus phones? i had a mate that had the first oneplus and he loved it.
my concern is the compatibility of the bands, etc. then again, i rarely make calls and use data and text more

bought a 3T off the forums, phenomenal phone - so fast.

5T will be here domestically afaik. First device that's tempted me to update my M8 (mrs scored the 3T) that I have no need to update as it's perfect still.

For what it's worth, I've been running a 3T for almost a year now. Europe/SEA model (A3003) without the Telstra/Optus Band 28, and haven't had any issues compared to a phone that did have B28 (Sony Xperia Z3).

YMMV of course, but it has been around Brisbane/Gold Coast/Sunny Coast, and I haven't noticed any signal issues. Have switched from Telstra to Optus in that time, and no real differences in coverage and signal strength.

I have the 6GB RAM/128gb storage model, and power is right. The phone is still blazing fast. The fingerprint reader is lightning quick, screen is bright and easy to read even in direct sunlight, and Dash Charge is fantastic. Would buy again.

In fact, am building up arguments to hand my 3T over to my wife to replace her phone, so I can get a 5T. :p

Different phone, but hopefully the setup will be the same.

This thing looks great. Moving to the US next year (only for a year), so I think it'll be between this and the Razer phone. Looks like an amazing product for the price though. "Face ID" is apparently even quicker than the iPhone X, although this is only going by a couple reviews...

i've got one coming over in the next week or so, upgrading from a HTC M8.

Little worried about the reviews commenting on the lack lustre camera, i've seen what the S8 can do and i may end up selling this if it does dissapoint.

i bought it off the official oneplus site: https://oneplus.net/oneplus-5t
you'll need to use a parcel forwarding service to get it to oz.

with the conversion, it was ~$750USD just for the phone.

Are they all the same specs? One plus only have 1 version?
If that's the case, I might just get a mate to buy and send to me

Currently you can only get the 5T and yes, essentially same spec, you just choose how much memory and storage you want (6GB RAM + 64GB Storage or 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage).

Will work with all Aus carriers from what I can see, including obscure band such as Band 8 for Telstra.

Your idea is intriguing to me.

And yeah, love that Oneplus have ditched the different firmware versions from their new phones, and just making one spec.

my 5t arrived and ive unboxed and started the setup. first thing i noticed is that its weighty. solid feeling. much more sturdy than my nexus 6
i love the ability to customise the buttons. so many features
