Bought one for my missus, arriving tomorrow. Overall took a week. Been waiting for a mobile like this! All the bells and whistles of a $900 unit.

$650 + 25 post - Oneplus 5T 4G Dual Sim 6GB Ram/64GB from eglobal, they've been generally good with support and warranty 2 years, been buying of them for 6+ years

For those buying in HK to bring it, your saving $50 but sacrificing warranty... worth it?

    The reviews are awesome!
I'm a bit jealous but I need to stick with my mix2 for at least a year to justify its purchase... plus it's 256GB

Eglobaldigitalcamera, there a HK based mob who specialise grey import to AU, been buying from them for years.....

I've had the phone for a few days now, bloody amazing!!! And OMG the face unlock is magic!
Very impressive features especially for its price.

Just got my phone. Took 3 days for Vaya to deliver it from HK

Do you use any screen protector, like glass tempered one?

    If you do, any recommendation?

I ordered a screen protector, film one because I've had really bad experience with tempered glass (probably because i bought them cheap!)

To my surprise, the 5T came with a tempered glass protector installed out of the box.... really surprised! and just made the phone that much sweeter!
The only beef I have is with it.. is the app drawer.. i can't stand it.. and can't modify it.
Probably because i'm so used to MIUI and how its more simple.. i kept thumbling on the drawer as I used the phone. I know that LG you can change the launcher to how ever you like which is really good.

But overall the phone is underrated and well worth the money!

For reference my delivery also took 3 days, even on the cheapest option.
Its the purchase >> dispatch that varies and can be a pain sometimes... 1-5 working days.

Yea, i noticed that i has a screen protector already, but mine came applied a bit to the left, so i can see the halo effect on the left side.

Can you provide me with the link to the screen protector?

When it comes to launcher, i'd install Nova launcher

Ohh cool, thanks for the suggestion
But the phones my wife'z and shes happy with it.

Dude! that sucks about the factory protector, I guess there can be inperfections.. mine was perfectly centered. I just ordered a > basic < protector. The phones used in a wallet case so its sufficient.

are u sure the screen protector is the tempered glass protector. i thought the std screen protector is just a thin plastic film that is installed on all 5t units?

I also looked. At the eglobal site. Those prices are super competitive. I would have gone that way but I had asked my friend to get it before I knew about it

Have also bought my 5T. Bought it from DWI, and am now in the waiting phase, waiting for delivery.

Ordered an official Oneplus case from Oppomart.

I did the same with my 3T, and the thin case works for me as the phone is carried in my pocket.

As for screen protectors, my 3T came with a film one installed. It got a scratch on it after about 9 months and I took it off. The feel of the glass under my finger feels much nicer, so I've left my 3T protector-less.

been rocking the 5t for a month now. super phone. took it to thailand, inserted a ais sim, no issues at all. super fast 4g in koh samui and bkk. helpful with the covereage and internet wverywhere. super durable
im using the clear case as i also ordered the sandstone case but dont like it as i think its too thin. the protective film has gotten a few knocks and i have a new film on the way.
overall, the 5t is a great phone, i will probably keep using it for a while and upgrade to the next 1+ in the future

Nice, I'm going back to OnePlus with the 5T Lava Red which should be arriving at my place in Brisbane in the next week or two.
Currently in Ko Tao after three weeks in Thailand with my trusty Nokia 8, got bored of it though :p

Anyone here can recommend a good tempered glass for the 5t?
I bought the maxshield from ebay, though it's good quality but I'm having rainbow effect in the center of the screen, which annoys the shit out of me
