So apparently they are moving away from cyanogen to their own ROM.

My phone has developed touchscreen issues.

I have tried full resets and all that stuff. I'm about to send it back to DWI.

I am wondering if anyone else has had the same thing happen to their phone?
Or done a return with DWI before?

It makes it frustrating to type, I often get stuck at the lock screen and just general accuracy or response is pathetic.

That doesn't fix it for me, sounds like your issue could be fixed with a fresh install or different kernel.

Id say that was a software issue.

If you want to try, id be flashing the phone with a custom rom or re doing the cyanogen rom before seeking an RMA.

I know you shouldnt have to, but thats part of the problem with these phones running custom parts.

Mine has just started having the microphone issues where no one can hear me properly unless I have the speaker phone on.

I know its a software issue and it should be fixed. Doesnt mean that oneplus will fix it, nor will cyanogen especially with CM12 lollipop coming out soon.

I would recommend not to buy this phone if you dont want to play around with it as things will probably go wrong.

Other than my issue though I still love the damn phone for its 4 day battery life.

I have been running Lollipop since alpha's became available. I flashed several different ROMs and kernels and tried other 'fixes' that have worked for other people.
I also have 4 friends with the same phone and we have tried installing the exact same ROMs at exact same time, I have the issue they don't.

So I am quite confident it's the hardware.

This would probably fix it. I don't want to pull it apart though.

Seems to be the only way. You could sell it as is with an adjusted price or go through an rma (if you can) and get a new one.

Ive seen the vid that shows how to replace the screen, much like that article and it doesnt seem too hard...but that depends on the person.

I have sent it back to DWI they said they would fix it.

Will report back with updates, if they repair it or replace it or whatever.

I had similar issues that only started occuring after 2 weeks in Thailand... I wonder if heat caused it. Anyway it started getting very bad when I got home. A reset would often fix it temporarily but not always.

I flashed back to 11S 44 with Franco Kernel (has the latest touch panel firmware) and I've had no more crazy touchscreen. I still have the odd touch registered as swipe when typing quickly but I am going to live with it for now... I did start the RMA process with DWI, and they said to send it back (at my cost) so they can check it, but because it has settled down since flashing back to 11S I'm going to hold off. But please let us know how you go if you send it back.

The latest OTA 11S 05Q update zip has been released. A TWRP flashable zip can be downloaded here:

I know it's an incremental update, but I can't tell if anything is different...
