Running it right now on my Fedora 10 system. Looks very good.

I quite like Opera. Even though it is closed source its a good product and competition in the browser market is always healthy.

If its been a while since you used Opera, I suggest checking it out. The quality for an Alpha is quite good.

I am seeing display issues with scrolling though, however I think the blame there rests with X and the associated free ATI driver.

any else having file not found errors when trying to Get the files?

Also whats the difference between windows and Windows classic?

    [edit] files working...

[edit] the on the fly spell check is great, seems pretty stable too. not tested all the other features though

Playing around with it now, the auto spelling system is quite nice, no other changes that are really noticeable besides this weird line that pops up when you scroll down and hit the bottom of the screen.

"Preferences" -> "Advanced" tab -> "Browsing" options -> Untick "Show scroll marker"

The content blocker doesn't sort alphabetically anymore is the only thing I've noticed so far.

I read already that 10 will come with its own inline spell check, how good is that, wont need aspell anymore, it does look good, can't wait for an official version to be released :)

i've been using it for a few days now & love it. It's slightly snappier rendering than 9.6.

Never really needed spellcheck in a browser though. The only time i make spelling mistakes are either deliberately or when i'm drunk and my fingers are too fat.

very stable which is surprising for an alpha release

Yeah, for an Alpha release, it appears to be very stable.

I like the spell check, nice idea.

Other than that, business as usual.

What I miss in v9 is the system tray icon changing to a 'letter' when you have unread email.
    Hope that comes back in...

    Finally, a proper email editor!
I've been wondering if this has been holding back Opera from gaining more market share, should be interesting...

Well ANZ website still does not work :upset:. ANZ's fault NOT Opera

I can now access Hotmail via Opera though.

you can get opera to identify itself as IE to the web servers, Im not confident on it working, you's probably have given it a try allready, just thought it was worth a mention, its under site prefrences.

Wow shame on ANZ, did it happen around the same time they introduced that weird on screen keyboard thing?

i don't see any onscreen keyboard thing?

all you do is enter in your account number and password, it then shows you your last login time and the next screen gives you some error message about being logged out for inactivity or something..

Hmmm gmail doesn't seem to finish loading for me.

In 9.62 it finishs loading and it sets the refresh icon.

But in 10.0 it sits on the stop icon...

Why does nothing on ANZ website work in general? Opera IE and Firefox all fail to send an enquiry.... SO FUSTRATING.
