Well the parts are ordered and now we play the waiting game.

What the project actually consists of is turning a second HAF-X case into a Rad box and having only 1 tidy tube go into the primary HAF-X through the top into the CPU > GPU's then out the back above the PSU bay.

The loop itself should look very unique and I'm sure Creekin, Koi and I are looking forward to how it turns out!

    Parts List
DangerDen 1/2" UV Red DreamFlex Tubing
2x Aqua Computer aquagraFX for GTX 580
    8x Phobya Nano-G 14 Silent Waterproof 1000rpm
Koolance PMP-450 12V Variable Speed Pump
    2x Black Ice SR1 420 Radiator
    4x Bitspower G1/4 Matte Black 1/2 Compression Fitting CC5
Bitspower G1/4 Matte Black Triple Rotary 90 Degree Adapter
Bitspower G1/4 Matte Black Rotary 45 Degree Adapter
    4x XSPC 140 R/S
    9 x RAD MOUNT (S&N-4PACK) 25mm
Danger Den Monsoon Red with Black Trim Premium D5 Dual Bay Reservoir
    Aquacomputer Cuplex Kryos Delrin
    932 Window Side Panel

Won't have a need for that stock panel fan that is on the HAF and it blocks out all the goodies inside from being seen so this is a good fix for that and the way the window to steel ration on the 932 panel is, it covers the drivebays / cable stash area.

Stay tuned for pics parts should hopefully start streaming in by the end of the week!

Built the 2nd HAF a step so all can be seen once the watergoodies are in it.

And now the wait for the parts which SHOULD come tommorow. *Fingers crossed*

Most of the parts came this morning at around 8am!

3 companies, all using the same courier service sent out all on the same day = profit!

    Brand spanka SR1's

The main focal point of this WC project for me, the DD Monsoon.

And all the fittings/brackets/pump - Don't worry Leithals your ole'bird will be artificial soon.
All we need now is the Tubing/Aquacomp GPU Blocks from Koitech, 8 Phobya Nano-G fans which I should've ordered with my first placement at TKR and the unfortunent 18th-22nd November estimated delivery date on the Delrin CPU Block from Germany, that 932 side panel should be here any day now.
P.S. Happy Halloween to you to TKR cheers for the sweets :)

Time to start ripping her apart.

After all the plastic panels are off.

    There goes the caddy bay.

And out with the mobo tray, was a pain to get out.

Now onward to positioning the rads n such!

    Looks tidy enough.

Looks fair decent with the DD Monsoon in place.

Does a 932 door fit on an X?

Also, you should look into getting a pair of quick disconnects to put in line between the cases. Should make it easier if you have to move them (assuming you haven't already thought of this).

They will be there, and yep Haf-X fits on a 932 and vice versa, essentially the same chasis just prettied up *or more rugged* and with more grommets etc.

Any particular reason why your going the 2 box route? its pretty messy and pretty unnecessary given the options available.

You could go a rad box such as THIS

not sure how this is messy and unnecessary
all the "mess" will be hidden and the loop itself will be pure minimalism

we started off with my phobya rad stand, and then discussed how to stealth it
then the next day a haf x came up on ocau for sale for only $100!!!!
    so that was that

after having a good look at the haf, internal was just not an option :thumbdn:
while u can mount some raddage in there, just no where near enough for the proposed rig.

we managed to track down all the parts we wanted yesterday :D
inc the monsoon res and delrin cpu block
both were very hard to find!

I'm proud of the ghetto'ness, however the wife i'm sure would like it to be neater.

What I did discover is that it was a nightmare to bleed the rad's until I reversed the flow and had the rads first then the blocks. hope that helps.

it looks like you went res/rad/pump
    instead of res/pump/rad
which may be why its hard to bleed?
can't see how the direction would make a diff though....

Nah definitely went res / pump / blocks / rads, but changed to res / pump / rads / blocks. And the only thing I can think of is the blocks are quite restrictive so the wasn't enough pressure/flow/whatever to blow out the air from the rads??? See this vid I made http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtfTibf7qOA. And before you ask, no I don't use that tube in my builds, just for testing.
