Anyone have any experience with EKWB's online store?

I've ordered a mono-block off EKWB and it's been a week without any update on shipping... I've tried emailing them and got the typical "We gave you a delivery ETA, piss off and leave us alone" reply from support... The item I ordered was in stock (M8G Acetal/Nickel)

Should I be concerned or is this to be expected?

I've ordered from them in the past and not had any problems, I don't think I tried to track it because they are in europe and I've never had luck tracking anything international from anyone. I think it took a week or two maybe? was quicker than I was expecting at the time.

My item took a fraction over 2 weeks to arrive from the time I ordered. I had to ask for the tracking number (DHL) to be added to my order page. From memory there was two tracking numbers, one was a DHL only number and one was an international number that also appeared in Auspost's tracking since that is who they hand off to for final delivery.

Bear in mind the package has to journey from central europe, to the UK, then to Australia via Asia/Middle East.

Out of interest did they ever send an email after the order email telling you they had been shipped?

Did they add tax? I swear in the past when I was at checkout there was no tax but the other night when wanting a block and backplate there was tax. Might as well grab local stock once tax was added.......but local dont have the nickel clear version.

Shouldn't be any VAT once Australia destination is selected. Maybe your cart bugged.

Yeah I might just push them for a refund at this point. CBF waiting for something their website says is in stock. Got a Maximus VIII Hero Alpha sitting here that needs to be in my build sooner rather than later.

Figured I'd update. I waited, it was dispatched on Tuesday morning very early our time. It arrived just now... They only missed the expected delivery date by 1 day. DHL express is pretty insanely efficient doing Slovenia > Cairns in about 3 days.

Did the order have VAT? Ordered some gear local but shop is saying 2 to 3 weeks even though website said in stock. Thinking of cancelling and going direct. Without VAT direct is cheaper.

I paid no VAT. Just for the block and the shipping. Mine also took a bit over 2 weeks but only 3 days of that was time spent in transit.

I've ordered from them directly twice. Both orders arrived quicker than Auspost from PCCG. First was 4 days, second was 5 days including the weekend (ordered Saturday night). All items listed as in stock. DHL get it here pretty bloody quick.

Yeah mine was listed as in stock but they really had to make it first... i got an m8g monoblock but i reckon with more generic blocks it would be super fast.

    EKWB double dipping?

So I was about to order the following parts

    FC Titan X pascal backplate
    FC Titan X pascal acetal
    RAM Monarch X4 acetal
    Supremacy EVO acetal
    XE 240
    XE 360
    PE 240

But... then I noticed there was GST attached ($133) even though these items are shipped from Slovenia and exempt from duty and taxes.

    EKWB attempting to double dip?
