Ok, have a Zotac 2080ti and it has Firestorm which is used for overclocking. Had 2 goes and 1st time locked the system so a hard reboot was needed and 2nd time my 3d Mark increased after I just slid the slider up by 200 and increased my fans to 100% on manual.

Now not sure how to overclock correctly and I want to do this as well as monitor my temps in the process and 3d Mark doesn't do this ( just goes to full window ).

I see Furmark is recommended by some but really want some good tools to monitor frequency and temperatures whilst it is running so suggestions for

    1/ Monitoring tools
    2/How to overclock GPU's
    3/ Benchmarking

Familiarise yourself with msi afterburner. While installing make sure it loads rivatuner statistics server. This will tell you everything you need in regards to monitoring, and has an overlay if you wanted to turn it on (do you only have one screen?)

Outside of that watch some GPU overclocking guides, it's pretty simple just start with smaller incremements in your OC and make sure you max the temp target and power target sliders

Some figures you should be safe to start with
    + max temp slider
    + max power limit slider
    +100 core
    +500 memory

To validate clocks I'd start with these synthetic benchmarks - but then make SURE you test them in actual games. I always find games are far more prone to becoming unstable from overclocks than synthetic benchmarks

    How old is your card?
Try +150 GPU, +1200 RAM(then increase a bit) if it's not old cos new ones seem to overclock higher.
